Revolt Labs

The fun one.

A Porsche 914, converted to electric by Revolt Labs.
The one you take on a whim and drive anywhere without a second thought.
‍

Electrifying.

The purists called it the budget one. It was mid-engined, light on its feet, with a chassis that hugs the road like it's in love.

We kept every bit of that: unassisted steering, no artificial damping, the same honest shape.

Then we intentfully improved upon it with four times the power over the original, providing instant torque through a limited-slip differential, and architected it with the mass set incredibly low for razor sharp handling.

The numbers.

Capable of 450 hp and 465 lb-ft*. 0–60 mph in 3.2 s*. Top speed of 140 mph*.

Curb weight around 2,600 lb*. 200+ miles of range*, more than enough for several canyon runs and home again.

DC fast charging from 10 to 80% in 30 minutes*.

(*Engineering targets based on design calculations and component specifications; to be verified by testing)

Ready when you are.

Get in and go. No choke, no warm-up.

The cabin has been obsessively insulated against noise, heat and cold, so it's far quieter than any 914 has a right to be, coupled with more than adequate A/C and heated seats.

The front and rear trunks are untouched, and the old engine bay is storage now too. We call it a Mrunk. Three trunks.

Bring the good luggage.

Revolt Labs electric architecture

Engineered, not assembled.

Our one rule: keep the spirit of the original and improve everything else.

The body, glass and suspension geometry stay true to the 914.

Underneath sits a production electric drive unit proven in millions of cars, a battery pack slung low beneath the floor, and a suitcase-sized thermal system in the old fuel-tank cavity that manages battery, drivetrain and cabin as one.

The charge port hides under the engine lid. The chassis is reinforced at the longitudinals, suspension mounts and wheel wells, with a roll bar and oversized brakes with adjustable front-to-rear bias.

The battery lives in its own protective structure with high-voltage isolation, and every build is documented in its own build record.

Every chassis tune is signed off by Dominic Dobson, seven-time Indianapolis 500 starter.

Our Terrain specification.
(If you like to get dirty)

Raised ride height, an armored underbody and a more powerful and efficient motor, with rear drive as standard and all-wheel drive available.

Built for fire roads, forest tracks and the long way home. The 914 went rallying in the seventies.

This one doesn't have to stop where the pavement does. Commission yours today.
